Ham Cubes Spaghetti in Cream Sauce | Instant Carbonara
Servings 3-4
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
150 grams of ham cubes
1 tablespoon garlic powder
500 ml water
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable broth powder
400 grams spaghetti
400 ml milk
200 ml cream
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
Herbs of your choice (e.g., parsley, basil, or oregano)
Method:
Heat a large pan or pot over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add the ham cubes to the hot pan and sauté them until they turn golden and slightly crispy.
Next, add garlic powder and sauté briefly to release its flavors.
Pour in the water, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Now, add the vegetable broth powder and stir to combine.
Bring the water to a boil and add the spaghetti to the pan, breaking it in half if necessary to fit.
Cook the spaghetti for 5-6 minutes. Pour in the milk, cream, and parmesan cheese.
Continue to cook the mixture for an additional 5-6 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent the noodles from sticking together.
Keep cooking until the spaghetti is done, and the sauce reaches your desired level of creaminess.
Add your choice of fresh or dried herbs and spices.
Some popular options include parsley, basil, or oregano. Use about a tablespoon or to your preference.
Serve the creamy ham and Parmesan spaghetti hot, garnished with a bit more Parmesan and some additional herbs for a delightful presentation.
Enjoy your delicious homemade pasta dish!
